WORKORA

Trust & safety

What protects your money, your work and your data

WORKORA is built so neither side has to trust a stranger. Verification, escrow and written contracts carry the risk instead.

The six pillars

How protection actually works

Identity verification (✓)

Members can verify identity against a government ID. Verified status is shown as a checkmark on profiles. Documents are stored in private storage and are readable only by authorised reviewers, never by other members.

Business verification (KYB)

Companies and agencies submit registration documents for review before they can carry a business-verified badge. Verification confirms the legal entity exists; it is not an endorsement of outcomes.

Escrow payment

Fixed-price contracts are funded before delivery begins. WORKORA holds the funds and releases them when the buyer approves the delivery, or according to the dispute outcome.

Written contracts

Every order carries a contract with scope, deliverables, revision limits, IP terms and a delivery checklist. Both sides e-sign before work starts.

Dispute resolution

If delivery is contested, either side can open a dispute. Escrowed funds stay held while WORKORA reviews the contract, the checklist and the delivery evidence.

Human control over AI

AI drafts scope, ranks matches and summarises work. It cannot release money, approve milestones, hire, or change contract terms — those actions always require human confirmation.

Questions we get most

Direct answers

Is the checkmark the same as the star?

No. The checkmark (✓) means identity was verified. The star (★) means the member holds a paid Premium membership. They are independent — a Premium member is not automatically identity-verified, and verification cannot be bought.

Who can see my ID documents?

Only authorised WORKORA reviewers. Verification files live in private storage with per-owner access rules; other members, companies and agencies can never read them.

What happens if a freelancer disappears mid-project?

Unreleased escrow stays with you. Open a dispute and WORKORA reviews the contract and delivered work before refunding or partially releasing funds.
