Standards
Marketplace Rules
One shared standard for freelancers, agencies and companies — written so you can tell in advance what will get an account promoted and what will get it removed.

1.The four principles
- Be who you say you are. Profiles, companies and agencies must be real and accurate.
- Sell what you can deliver. Scope, timelines and prices must be honest.
- Keep work and money on the platform. Protection only exists where the record exists.
- Treat people professionally. No harassment, discrimination or retaliation.
2.Profile and identity standards
- Use your real name or your registered business name.
- Portfolio work must be yours, or your role in it must be stated.
- Do not claim verification, certifications or clients you cannot evidence.
- One account per person or organisation; no shared or resold accounts.
3.Listing standards
Jobs and service packages must describe genuine work with a clear deliverable, a realistic timeline and a price that matches what will actually be charged.
- No bait pricing that only becomes real through mandatory extras.
- No duplicate listings created to occupy more search results.
- No keyword stuffing or categories chosen to game discovery.
- No listings for academic dishonesty, fake reviews, or engagement manipulation.
4.Communication standards
- Keep negotiation, scope changes and delivery in the platform thread.
- No unsolicited bulk outreach or copy-pasted proposal spam.
- No requests for personal contact details in order to move payment off-platform.
- Respect declines. Repeated contact after a clear no is harassment.
5.Delivery and quality
Deliver what the agreement describes, on the agreed date, in the agreed format. If something slips, say so early in the order thread — a documented delay is recoverable, silence is not.
Work delivered must be original or properly licensed, and free of undisclosed third-party dependencies the buyer cannot legally use.
6.Payment integrity
- No circumvention: taking an introduction off-platform to avoid fees is a serious breach.
- No fee-avoidance invoicing that misstates the value of work delivered.
- No use of stolen cards, mismatched payout identities or money-movement schemes.
- Refunds and cancellations follow the Payment Terms, not private side deals.
7.Reviews and reputation
Reviews must reflect a real transaction. Buying, trading, incentivising or threatening reviews is prohibited, and so is pressuring a counterparty to change one.
8.Prohibited work
- Illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs and regulated financial schemes.
- Adult content, exploitation, or anything involving minors.
- Hacking, credential theft, spyware, and bypassing platform or third-party security.
- Impersonation of brands or individuals, and disinformation-for-hire.
9.AI use in delivered work
AI assistance is allowed. Passing off unedited AI output as bespoke expert work when the buyer asked for original human work is not. If the buyer asks how AI was used, answer honestly.
10.Enforcement
Enforcement is proportionate and recorded. Depending on severity and history we may warn, remove a listing, limit discovery, hold a payout, remove a badge, suspend an account, or close it permanently.
Fraud, payment abuse and harm to another user can result in immediate permanent closure without a warning step.
11.Reporting and appeals
Report a listing, message or profile from its report control, or raise it through the Help Center. Include the order or thread reference so reviewers can see the record.
If an action was taken against your account you can request one review of that decision, with new information attached.
